Auto Case Packing of 'ready to eat' Pappadum snack
The Culinary Brands division of Britain's market leader in the production of food products now has a VP451 CleanDesign case packer at its facility in Worksop, Notts.
The medium speed machine is equipped with an infeed paddle chain together with a high capacity blank magazine. The VP451 CD packs five different blister packs containing ready to eat Indian pappadum snacks. The products enter the machine laying down on their base in a single lane and are then stood up on their edge by the paddle chain. In the loading station area, the group of products are then pushed onto the prepared blank for packing according to the desired format.

ROBERT McBRIDE plc
Auto Case Packing of pump products
At the McBride production facility in Bradford, Meypack and Penn Packaging have installed a combination packaging system, VP451+SW60D, to automatically pack plastic bottles with pumps into wrap-around cases or trays or trays with shrink-film.
After filling, the bottles arrive at the machine in single lane and are divided into the required number of lanes by a belt divider. According to the desired format, the bottle formation is transported onto the waiting case/tray blank then packed. The finished WA cases simply pass through the shrink-tunnel while the trays are additionally shrink-wrapped with film.
McBride produces a wide range of products such as soap, detergents, household cleaning agents and personal/body care products with production facilities all over Europe.
