The Apex DA & DR Series of de-nesting machines are available in 2 variations, rotating and alternating, and are capable of automatically de-nesting and placing plastic lids or tray style products.

These items can be placed either on top of the prior de-nested tray or placed onto a conveyor to be subsequently filled.

The choice of machine depends on your needs in terms of the products to be de-nested and the rate of output. A variety of different products can be used. We can adapt our devices to one or more lanes, on one or more levels.

The model DA, accommodates speeds up to 60 cycles per minute with a number of magazines.

The model DR, accommodates speeds up to 80 cycles per minute.

The rotary lid de-nester series, model DR, enables the positioning and snap-fitting of square, round, rectangular or oval lids, particularly for ready-made food and salad trays.

Four arms equipped with vacuum suction cups mounted on to a rotor ensure the handling of the lids from the long-range horizontal magazine.

The lids are held in line for positioning onto the trays, which, driven by two side-positioning belts are fitted with the lids at the same speed. An upper runner rail completes the operation by securing the lid onto the tray.

The use of state-of-the-art technology has enabled us to:

• Design a flexible machine that can be adapted to a variety of trays and lids.
• Reach an output rate of 80 cycles per minute.

The various heights can be adjusted easily using a switch positioning mechanism and the movement of the trays is adjusted and synchronised by means of a Brushless motor and axle card.
