The Apex MD Series of sachet inserters are high-speed machines capable of automatically inserting or placing 2 or 3 dimensional flow-wrapped sachet products.

These items can be placed either on top of the product group or inside the pack prior to shrink-wrapping or carton closing.

Products which are secured in a flow-wrap type medium are fed in continuous stream into the Apex MD machine. The machine drives these products through the infeed section of the machine where a photocell determines the correct cutting position. The cut sachet is then guided to the exit position for placing onto the product.

The model MDS-200, can handle items from 35 to 100 mm (wide) and from 40 to 200 mm (long) with a thickness of 4 to 35mm.

The model MDV, has been designed for liquid filled sachets.
