The handle applicator PROGRIP is a versatile multi-talent. It attaches handles to many different product packs, such as cans, bottles kitchen paper towel rolls, nappy/diaper packs or detergents. Regardless of whether the products are packed in cases, trays or shrink-wrapped, the PROGRIP system can cope easily with varying sizes of goods.

As a stand-alone machine, it can be placed anywhere in the production line.

The versatility of the PROGRIP is based on its operational principle.

A permanently rotating application unit attaches carry handles to the product. This mechanism ensures a mainly trouble-free function and requires a minimum of maintenance. The dispenser for the adhesive tape is integrated within the machine. The use of pre-shaped adhesive tapes guarantees a long service life. The operator only intervenes every 3 to 9 hours to change the reel in conjunction with the performance and the handle length.

The PROGRIP is available as a one-line-machine PROGRIP S, as a two-line-machine PROGRIP D and as a three-line-machine PROGRIP T. All models are of a compact construction; the self-supporting welded machine frame is of a particularly rigid construction and can be delivered as a painted version or of stainless steel. The entire utility lines are completely covered. All areas involved in the operation are freely accessible.

The conversion time of the PROGRIP from one product size to a different one is extremely short. All usual sizes are embedded as a design in an operating terminal. Error messages are displayed in the terminal; the operator can intervene quickly to rapidly remedy the causes of possible defects.

According to size and shape of the product the PROGRIP copes with up to 120 units, as a two-line-ma-chine up to 240, and as a three-line-machine up to 360 units.
