    Posted in Project A.E.

With the increasing need for the saving of packaging material and the requirement for easy opening and flexibility getting more important in the marketing of products. The new PROBAND Adhesive Labeller in combination with a Carry Handle Applicator is now being selected as a new concept for packaging of many different types of product including bottles, cans, cartons etc.

Project ProBand system

The advantages of the PROBAND system include:

  • Lower costs compared to shrink film packaging
  • 100% product display visibility, with no obscuring of the unique appearance of the product
  • Additional versatile advertising space on the carry handle and the printable adhesive tape, ideal for special offers and promotions
  • A variety of different pack size products can be grouped in different formats, for example 1 x 2, 2 x 2, 2 x 3, 3 x 4 etc

How does the PROBAND system work,

Products are secured to each other in multipack arrangements with a strip of adhesive tape encircling the grouped products using our new PROBAND Adhesive Labelling. A carry handle is then attached to the multipack using the well proven Project PRO-GRIP system.

This method of packaging is virtually invisible, but extremely effective and stable.

The PROBAND system can operate upto 60 packs per minute in single lane and also has the possibility of being supplied in twin lane design for much higher outputs.

Project: Carry Handle Applicators

    Posted in Project A.E.

The PROGRIP E Carry Handle Applicator is fast becoming considered as a means of easier and safer way of handling of many different types of products.

Project Carry handle applicator

The PROGRIP E Handle Applicator is an economical  way of providing a safe and easy way for the handling of different types and styles including either large of heavy packs.

A rotating finger attaches carrying handles to a variety of packaging types – whether they consist of cans, bottles, jars, cardboard cartons or are plastic wrapped. The compact machine design permits placement of the handle applicator in production lines with very limited space conditions.

The practical aspect of the PROGRIP E machine combined with the use of pre-laminated adhesive tapes, guarantees long machine running time with minimal operating effort. The operator only needs to attend the machine every 3 to 10 hours depending on the machine performance and carry handle length.

There are two PROGRIP E machines in the range, the one-line machine with a capacity of up to 120 packs/min, or the two-line machine with a capacity of up to 240 packs/min.

Both machines are impressive because of their minimal maintenance requirements, short conversion time to switch from one product to another, as well as the low initial purchase price and reasonable running costs.

The flexibility of the PROGRIP E90 system allows handles to be applied to large, light or soft products. The handles are attached from the side onto the product. The system can be installed either as a one or two-line machine. Both models can be positioned anywhere in the production line. There is also the option of supplying the machine in either a painted or stainless version.
