The visitors to Meypack’s trade fair stand A30 in hall 14 at this year’s Interpack 2011 experienced not only a friendly and informative Team, but also a highly flexible system to pack products in wrap-around cases and in trays with or without film as well as just in film as pure multipacks.
Meypack has developed an innovative end-packaging machine able to process even more types of primary packaging and formats on one single machine, leading to a faster return on investment.

Meypack at Interpack, 2011
The continuous motion VP 501 SW 60 TM wrap-around case packer and shrink wrapper was designed for Ennstal Milch KG in Stainach, Austria. The machine packs round “CartoCans” made of coated cardboard. This concept can end-package products both in wrap-around cases as well as in trays with or without film. In addition, the machine can process pure multipacks, meaning that individual products pass through the packaging machine in either one lane or two and are then wrapped in film on the downstream shrink wrapper. When packing the cans as multipacks, the machine’s lower pressing chain splits apart. A motorised flat top chain conveyor moves upward automatically to the transport level. To enable easier opening of the film packs, the machine is equipped with an “Easy Open” perforation unit.
