Shrink-wrapping systems

The Meypack shrink wrappers of the SW Series are available as both single roll and also as double roll shrink wrappers.

Machine types of the SW Series that utilise the single roll technology are distinguishable by the absence of a sealing beam and have only one seal because the products are only wrapped by one roll of film. This is a distinct advantage when printed film is being used, not only because of the bottom seal but also because the printed film can be precisely centred. These machines can be operated at a speed of up to 100 cycles per minute. Two and three lane systems are also possible.

  • Double film reel shrink-wrapping

Machine types of the SW Series that utilise a double roll technology use a sealing beam, which can be quickly and easily changed. The two film rolls create two seals. This is well suited for less complicated packaging requirements and is only available for a low-speed or mid-speed output of up to 40 cycles per minute.

    • Semi-automatic and fully automatic flying splice options
    • Modular construction
    • Clean and open machine design and execution
    • Fast product format changeovers
    • Upto 40 cycles / minute, depending on product dimensions
  • Single roll shrink-wrapper

With the continous motion VP500 Series machines, the tray packing machines are also available in a double lane version.

    • Semi-automatic and fully automatic flying splice options
    • Single roll technology
    • Precise positioning of printed film
    • Modular construction
    • Highly flexible
    • Fast format changeovers
    • Upto 25 cycles / minute or 50 packs / minute in twin lane configuration
  • High speed Shrink-wrapping

All machine types of the SW Series stand out due to their economical use of film, which is made possible because the shrink film is laid tightly around the product by the heat activated shrinking procedure. This also guarantees a high level of stability and safety during transport.
